Military Appreciation
The Boeing Classic is honored to recognize the men and women that serve our country by hosting Military Appreciation Day.
The tournament, in conjunction with the PGA Tour Champions and local sponsors, will honor our country and those who have fought to protect it in nearly all aspects of the day’s events. Highlights of Military Appreciation Day activities include free admission & parking for active, retired and Reserve military, first tee player announcements made by military personnel, and Old Glory serving as the pin flag on the 18th Green.
Additionally, the Boeing Classic is excited to incorporate Folds of Honor into Championship Sunday and Military Appreciation Day. This program is an inspiring new experience for fans, players, sponsors and volunteers to engage on-site at the Boeing Classic through a shared connection and appreciation of our U.S. service members and first responders who guard the freedoms of those domestic and abroad. It’s an opportunity to come together as one with a greater purpose. Fans in attendance will be encouraged to wear red, white and blue as an outward display of unity and an inward commitment to meeting sacrifice with hope for America’s fallen or disabled military and first responders.
Folds of Honor is a nonprofit organization that will provide thirteen (13) educational scholarships on behalf of the Boeing Classic to the spouses and children of US military service members and first responders who have fallen or been disabled while serving our country and communities.
