The 19th Annual Boeing Classic officially tees off Friday at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge. Gates open to the public at 9:00 a.m. Single day tickets start at just $20 in advance.

The Boeing Classic Opening Ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. and feature tournament dignitaries, sponsors and benefactors gathering behind the 18th green facing the clubhouse. The colors will be presented by the McChord Field Color Guard and the national anthem will be performed by Brianna Nguyen from First Tee of Greater Seattle. Tournament representatives will officially welcome the spectators and signal the fan favorite Boeing Flyover to commence, with a Boeing 777-9 doing the honors.

The first tee shots of competition will be at 11:30 a.m. with past champions Rod Pampling (’21), Scott Parel (’18) and Billy Andrade (’15) on Hole #1, and Woody Austin, Jeff Maggert and Boo Weekley on Hole #10.

Notable tee times include:

  • Hall of Famer Vijay Singh tees off at 11:41 a.m. from #1 with David Toms and Richard Green.
  • Seattle’s own Hall of Famer Fred Couples tees off at 11:52 a.m. from #1 with Steve Flesch and David Duval.
  • At 12:03 p.m. on #1 is Steven Alker playing with current Senior British Open champion K.J. Choi and Hall of Famer Ernie Els.
  • Defending Champion Stephen Ames (’23) tees off #1 at 12:14 p.m., playing with fellow champion Miguel Angel Jimenez (’22) and two-time champion and Hall of Famer Bernhard Langer (’10, ’16).
  • Boeing Classic past champions Scott Dunlap (’14) and Mark Calcavecchia (’11) tee off from #1 with Dunlap at 12:25 p.m. with Darren Clarke and Y.E. Yang, while Calcavecchia is at 1:20 p.m. with Duffy Waldorf and Gene Sauers.


The Seahawks Village officially opens at 11:00 a.m. with games, interactive displays and other family friendly activities. Seahawks Legend Jermaine Kearse will be signing autographs for fans from noon to 2:00 p.m.

The Boeing Classic benefits the Benaroya Research Institute (BRI) at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, a world leader in human immunology to predict, prevent, reverse and cure diseases that involve the immune system. Over $9 million has been raised to date for BRI and other local charities.

The Boeing Classic, a PGA TOUR Champions event, was formed in 2005 by Virginia Mason and the Seattle Seahawks. It has been contested at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge each year.
