Volunteer Package Information
Thank you for your interest in being a part of the 2012 Boeing Classic.
1,018 volunteers supported last year's event and with their help we believe
it was the most successful tournament yet. The TOUR players, families and
caddies were very appreciative of the support they received all week long -
from the moment they arrived at the airport to their experiences at the golf
course - and they all were impressed by the special care they received from
every person they came in contact with. In addition to the players, several
vendors, sponsors and spectators went out of their way to let us know that
our volunteers were incredibly gracious and a great representation of our
tournament and our community.
The Boeing Classic has become a week that the TOUR players look forward to each year and it would be impossible to sustain and improve upon such high expectations without the hard work and 'can do' attitude exhibited by our volunteer base.
COMMITTEES AND SHIFTS
Volunteers are assigned to a variety of committees, performing the many
tasks required to conduct a PGA TOUR event. Please refer to the Committee
Description page for more information on the committees that are available.
We will do our best to accommodate placing you in one of your top two
preferences, but we encourage you to sign up early because committees will
close as they reach their capacity. Once you have been assigned a committee
you will receive an email with further information that will be followed up
by a direct communication from your committee chair.
For most committees there are two (2) shifts per day, the morning or AM shift and the afternoon or PM shift, but some groups have mandatory shifts and may also require additional training.
