LOREN ROBERTS, FELLOW BOEING CLASSIC CHAMPIONS MAKE BIG SHOWING AT TOSHIBA CLASSIC

2009 Boeing Classic Champion Loren Roberts shot a 69 on Sunday to win the Toshiba Classic by two strokes over three fellow Tournament Champions - Mark Calcavecchia (2011), Tom Kite (2006, 2008) and Bernhard Langer (2010).

Roberts made a 5-foot birdie putt on the final hole to ensure the victory after bogeys on three of the previous four holes.

"We did make it interesting," he said. "We got off to the start you dream of doing, but hit a snag on the back."

Roberts began the day two strokes behind Calcavecchia, but made birdies on three of his first four holes.

CADILLAC RETURNS AS THE OFFICIAL CAR OF THE BOEING CLASSIC

Cadillac will once again have a strong presence at the Boeing Classic

The Boeing Classic and Northwest Cadillac Dealers Association have announced that the luxury vehicle will continue its partnership and return as the Official Car of the 2012 tournament. This marks the seventh year Cadillac has been involved as a premier tournament sponsor and their significant support of the event will benefit players, participants and spectators alike.

A major benefit for the Champions Tour players competing in the tournament, Cadillac will provide courtesy cars for the pros to use throughout the week. The advantages provided by Cadillac are not limited to the pros, however, as additional tournament participants may also benefit from the Cadillac partnership. Korean Air Pro-Am players will have an opportunity to win a Cadillac as part of a hole-in-one promotion during their two-day competition and spectators who drive Cadillac vehicles to the event will be offered preferred parking locations.

For fans looking for the opportunity to get a close look the latest Cadillac models, vehicles will be prominently displayed at the course throughout tournament week and Cadillac representatives will be on hand to offer great giveaways.

“It’s a great opportunity for us to support the region’s premier golf event that does so much to give back to this community.  It also allows us, the Northwest Dealers, to showcase our world class line of luxury vehicles including the all new Cadillac XTS.  Not only will the Pros experience the luxury and technology of the Cadillac XTS, those same vehicles will be offered for sale at one of our Cadillac dealers.  We are fortunate and proud to be a partner at this incredible event,”  said Brad Brotherton, President of the Northwest Cadillac Dealers Association.
