Loren Roberts Media Day

On Sunday night Loren Roberts awaited his flight in Memphis after spending some time away from the Champions TOUR at home with his family. At the time his plane was scheduled to depart, the screen suddenly flashed “DELAYED” and the announcement was made that the airline was dealing with a mechanical issue.

With only a short window of time available to spend in Seattle before a scheduled flight to Oregon for the Jeld-Wen Tournament Roberts knew the wake-up call would come early, but his commitment to promote the Boeing Classic and successfully defend his title was first and foremost on his mind.

He arrived in Seattle very late Sunday night and though many would not blame him for wanting to cut the day’s agenda short, Roberts instead enthusiastically navigated his way through the day while helping to grow the awareness of the Boeing Classic and the Champions Tour along the way.

Where to be & What to See at the 2010 Boeing Classic

Here are some tips on the best places to catch great golf action and take in many of the scenic views TPC Snoqualmie Ridge has to offer at the Boeing Classic.

Additions to the course include a beer garden (the 19th hole) located near the 10th tee box for premier viewing, a Canyon Club double the size of the 2009 venue, and new bleachers on No. 9 green which include a sundeck and bar on the top.

Power Rankings:
JELD-WEN Tradition

All eyes will be on Bernhard Langer at the JELD-WEN Tradition to see if he can win a third straight Champions Tour major.

Mike Reid is the defending champion. He made a 12-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole at Crosswater Golf Club last year to post his second career Champions Tour victory, both majors. He also won the 2005 Senior PGA Championship.
